finally. the See2 conference at Hwa Chong is over. What a riduculous way to spend your birthday. and the next two days after it , for that matter. All we did was create a proposal to reach out to the public for whatever retarded reason and create a proposal to "satisfy a need to the community" using Infocomm-related stuff and "raise awareness" for infocomm. the project isn't even going to be bloody implemented anyway. not even those projects who were chosen to be presented to the iDA VIPs. sheesh. however, after these three days, i finally know how to tie a necktie. YAY!

just arrived back home from the Riverside Secondary School Prom Night 2009 : A Touch of Glamour. or something. wasn't actually paying too much attention. i volunteered for photo duty ( like i always do, thus explaining my bombastic amount of CIP hours) . i tried out the new Nikon D90 DSLR for the first time!!! it can shoot videos too!!!! holy crap !!!!!!!

anyway, we ate some pizza before the seniors themselves arrived, and we also ate their leftover buffet (they had enough leftovers to overwhelm a wedding banquet, the chefs actually brought us entire TRAYS of fresh, piping hot food ). apparently one of the dishes served was the famous chicken rice(chicken and rice served separately) which costs $20++ a plate. so, i had some of it. and some of the jumbo prawns in some unknown sweet sauce. and some salmon sashimi with soy sauce. there were also bee hoon, mutton rendang, duck and fish, but i didn't try those. due to my nose being clogged up worse than the section of the CTE heading towards the AYE during morning rush hours, everything i ate tasted like the sashimi without seasoning. and for those of you who have eaten sashimi before, you will know that it tastes extremely fabulous without seasoning.

besides the food, i also took photographs (needless to say) laughed at the jokes the host made and also sat in an incredibly comfortable large velvet armchair. i think it was velvet. all in all, an eventful day. although, i have to say, the best part of the trip was definitely sitting in the armchair.

this has been my personal record for neglecting my blog: 3 months. of course, i had good reasons for it, including the end of year exams, the release of Halo 3:ODST , my computer dying on me and other minor stuff.

as usual, i'm very convinced that nobody ever reads this anyway, and whatever i do here will be ignored by the world. crap. i suddenly had a thought about typing in a random suggestion but IF this was somehow screened by any authorities i may be in trouble. so i had better not continue. let the extra posts be a surprise to whoever happens to type in the wrong URL and stumbles upon this.

if you are unsure when i typed this, its the last day of school today. tomorrow, there's going to be a class outing at east coast. and right now, i am literally, literally, LITERALLY dying of boredom in my house. and by the way, we received our report books back today. 5 distinctions, surprised even myself. i hope i can achieve this standard for the O's.
crap. nothing else to add on. the tv's showing some people whacking small white balls into holes in the ground using poles. i think they call it galf or something. its seriously boring. i have nothing else to do. my caffeine content in my blood is too high for me to fall asleep. i am dead broke. what a wonderful world.

i sent it for repair this monday and today they gave me the approximated cost: $727. WTF?
of course i rejected the repair. so now i've got to give them about $50 for finding out whats wrong with my com. %@#$%^&*.

of course, the silver lining is that i can concentrate on my EOY. hope to buy another same model (acer aspire 4520G with the dual core 1.83 processor and at least a 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 8400m G graphic card and all that stuff.) hope the price has decreased by about $$200++.

finally reserved The Cole Protocol form the library, which took forever for the book to pass "in transit to pickup". crap.

Tobias S. Buckell is quite a good author, i must say. the language and tone all comes together nicely , creating different moods during different plots of the storyline. i bet until now most of you reading this have no idea what the hell i am talking about. no matter.

my parents have no idea the EOY examinations are starting tomorrow. right now, they are nagging at me to "shut down and do some bloody homework for fcuk sakes because the exams are coming next month." the above being translated from chinese, of course.

well, i can't ignore them, so i'm going to shut down. but i'm not going to do homework, as usual. Fringe is showing 10 mins later at 10PM. god bless J.J Abrams.
